Esse Gives Back - SHELTER - Home for Children in Malaysia.

Assalamualaikum,
Let's join this charity event.

Esse Organic Skincare, an eco-conscious skincare brand promoting a sustainable lifestyle, will be hosting a one day "Nature" themed charity art sale event. The artwork will be painted by children, for children. Proceeds from the artwork will be donated to SHELTER – Home for Children in Malaysia. We protect what we love. By encouraging our children to paint the beauty of nature, we are also teaching them to love our irreplaceable Mother Earth. We would like to invite you to come join us on the 19th July at Annexe Gallery, Central Market, to show your support for these amazing young artists and to SHELTER. View the gallery here for the artworks which are available for booking.

Serenity - Charmaine Ng, 14, Malaysia

Shelter, a registered welfare organization, has been in existence since 1981 to help abused, abandoned, neglected or at-risk children.

Shelter Home for Children started as a result of the vision of a group of seven friends who wanted to help the children in a squatter settlement along Old Klang Road. They initiated tuition classes so that the children could do better in their studies.

Fly Away - Charmaine Ng, 14, Malaysia

When the group found three homeless boys sleeping in the corridors of the State Cinema (now Lotus Restaurant, at New Town, Petaling Jaya) the group decided to rent a single storey bungalow in Section 12, Petaling Jaya. "All that we had was an empty house without any furniture. We sat, ate and slept on the floor. But, in the end, the boys stole some money and ran away!" said Mr James Nayagam, former Executive Director of Shelter, one of the seven friends who started Shelter.

The Playful Monkeys - Benjamin Liew Zhen Nan, 12‘Depicting the beautiful scenery in the forest with all the playful monkeys bathing.”.

My Garden of Sunflowers - Mihika Rao, 9, Singapore

Kids from shelter homes from various countries including USA, Canada, Cambodia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and so many more presented their artwork themed Nature to be sold and raised for charity for the shelters themselves. All you have to do to help these kids is just by purchasing the lovely paintings and you can make a lot of children be happy & feel loved in addition of getting something precious & meaningful artwork to be hang in your space of choice.
